ABOUT NESSA

My name is Nessa and I'm actually a music teacher by day, cookie designer by night. I currently work full-time as a high school choir director, and I love what I do! I play flute, piano, guitar, and ukulele and I've taught just about all things music--including choir, band, jazz band, marching band, vocal jazz, mass choir, musicals, and various private lessons. Before that I dabbled in many different areas, holding 3 or 4 jobs at a time. I made smoothies, sold concert tickets, and even worked as an orthodontic technician!

As you probably noticed, I've never been someone to say no to a challenge, which has kept me quite busy over the years. So a few years ago when my best friend's mom offered to pay me to bake some graduation cookies for her younger daughter, I went for it--and I went all out! I scoured the internet for ideas and learned how to create cute royal icing transfers of her school logo and graduation cap. After that I needed more reasons to perfect my craft, so Nessa's Cookies was born.

I have always loved baking and take pride in making sure everything I make is beautiful. I hope I can make your next event just a little more beautiful, one cookie at a time.
